OOTD | Going to the Movies & Little Announcement

hey lovelys,

On saturday I went to the movies with a really good friend of mine and we had so much fun. I went with a casual but in my opinion really chic outfit. I am loving H&M's loose fitted trousers at the moment. It would be very kind if you could also read my little blog update below the pictures.

May I have your attention please

I am taking the opportunity and  time to share some information with you, regarding my blog and future posts. After 7 month I decided to cancel my Glossybox subscribtion because I wasn't too pleased with the content anymore. Please keep in mind that these are my personal preferences, they do not count for everyone. I just have to keep in mind that as a student I have to carefully decide what to spent my money on.

 Nevertheless I thought it would be super fun to show you what kind of box subscribtions germany has to offer besides Glossybox. I myself like to watch these unboxing videos although I cannot get the birch box     (US only) or the Jolie Box (UK). The box I have ordered is called the PinkBox which only contains full size drugstore products and comes with a different magazine every time. I will make a monthly post about the content of the box and my personal opinion, both in english and in german. The details will all be in the first post.

Secondly I decided to share more german products with you guys and these posts will be in english and in german as well. I hope I didnt scare you away with these changes, as small as they are, because I am really excited. Everything else will stay the same as it is now. English will always be the number one language that I will post my entries in.

OOTD 7.2.13 | Flowery Variations

I just cant get enough of this flowerprint, I am literally obsessed with it. I find my self styling around it just so I can wear it every day but everytime a little bit different. I dont like wearing one outfit two days in a row so it was just a fun little challenge for me.

All Items (except the short blue jacket, thats from last years collection) I paired with the top are also from H&M and are available in the shops right now so if you want them, grab them.

OOTD 01.02.13 | Lunch

Friday is the most relaxing day of my whole week because I have to drive to uni in the late afternoon instead of the early morning. Today me and the girls decided to go for lunch before the class started and so we headed over to a really cool restaurant near the harbour. They offer mostly italien food like pizza pasta and antipasti and up until now everything I tasted was just amazing. Here are just a few quick shots of my outfit and my order of that day. I ate pasta with red pesto sauce, pine nuts, dried tomatoes and ricotta- cheese.

Top "Find" January 2013 | H&M Flowerprint

A hint of Spring

I was never too keen on flower prints I must say. Or thats just because I never found one that did the job for me anyway. But oh my gosh,when I saw this one on the H&M webside I was just mezmerized - seems just to be the right word for it. Rights now it is freezing cold here in germany, so its a shame I cant wear the all-over combination outside because the fabric is just too thin for this weather.

These two pieces will definately be a staple in my spring/summer wardrobe of 2013 - I am in love with the peplum top. In the mean time I have to tame myself just to layer the top under thick cardigans and coats and so on.
The necklace also is from H&M and the rosegold watch from Fossil.

Happy (belated) New year | Resolutions for 2013

Happy New Years Everyone~

This year after 4 years of working at new years I finally got the chance to do it again and I am very grateful for that. It was also the first time spending new years with my boyfriend which was just incredible.
I did nothing too big, just gathered my closest friends sat together around a big dinner table eating talking and laughing. We had a really lovely time. So lovely that I didnt do any photos I have to admit, so shame on me.

Am I the only one who is kind of sad when the old year ends and is left with a big hole of nothingness to deal with. I find that a little bit depressing at times.

I thought it would be fun to make myself a little list for 2013 of what I want to accomplish so I can look back to it and see what I have achieved over that.

Anxiety
What really helped me last year was actually a blog post from one of my favourite youtubers/Bloggers called Zoe (Zoe's Blog). She did a blog post on how its such a shame that we dont say YES much more often because we are simply to afraid to do anything wrong. So I really want to take that by heart this year.
There are actually many people who suffer from anxiety everyday and I thought it might look strange that most people are actually bloggers or youtubers. Its because the viewes think the person sits in front of a camera and talks to hundreds or thousands of people, why the hell would someone like that suffer from panic attacks or at least be shy. Well I got really motivated to give it my very best this time.

Academics
I lagged a bit of focus over last half of 2012 I couldnt really get myself to study properly like I feel I should have. I also wanna get more into the things that I really like and I think I stepped into the right direction when I chose to add English to my classes at uni. I hope to do more with blogging etc in the future; that would be really amazing. 

Be more organised
There was a time when I had everything prepared days before and I really wanna get back to that routine because it took away alot of pressure and made me see things a lot more relaxed. I am basically a very organised person at least when it comes to my own stuff. Sometimes As a guest I always tend to forget that and I think thats quite the annoying habit and I wanna diminish that immediately.

Clear out my Wardrobe
I wanna get rid of all the things that I secretly know that I am never gonna wear and get more of the things that are really me.

Get that ink 
I dont know how long exactly i am pushing this forward but it seriously has to stop soon. Earlier last year I decided to get my tattoo renewed but I never got round doing it because I always had to buy other, more    important things. So YES, I am going to do that VERY soon.

Save some money
This resolution really conflicts with everything I like to do right now and I have way to much hobbies. BUT I actually have to save up because I desperately need a new car, and I dont know how long my old ones gonna last. Sounds pretty embarrassing but at least I purchased it with my own earned money of which I am really proud of.


So I think those goals will keep me pretty busy throughout the year and I hope to write even more.
I feel a little reliefed already, since there are so much things to look forward to <3

Christmas Eve | 2012

Hello Holly Jolly Lovelys~*

Last night I realised that many of you probably didnt understand my counting to christmas. So if that's the case let me explain to you that in germany we unwrap our presents on christmas eve and not on Christmas day like in the UK or US.
I wanted to give a quick impression on my Christmas eve regarding my outfit, the dinner table and our Christmas tree. I hope you enjoy my little outlook on the best time of the year.

4 days till Christmas ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Sick as hell, i tried getting ready for the Christmas work gathering and I kind of managed quite well I would say. I wanted to do an outfit that was chic yet still comfy enough because I did not feel very well and sniffled all the time.

I wore my new black long haired jumper and studded leggings from Gina Tricot; for accessoires I chose my DIY pyramid studded collar and an accent cross chained Earring.

For shoes I went with my all so beloved Jeffrey Campbell Litas. Despite the fact that this was no big party and more like a casual get-together with coffee and little snacks it was a really nice atmosphere with a lot of compliments for my outfit especially my shoes.

Glossybox Germany | December 2012 Bejeweled Box

5 Days till Christmas ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

This is really a lovely gesture Glossybox, well done!!!
So for this special holiday season we were treated with this beautiful silvery box calles "the bejeweled edition" of the Glossybox.

Cosline concealer (fullsize)
I had never heard of this brand before and I was a tiny bit disappointed when I saw that the color was too dark for me. That immediately changed when I checked the little content card, saying that it adjusts to your individual skin tone. Normally I dont go for the creamy stick type of concealer but I will give this a try.

Lipstick Dr hauschka Glossy Brown (fullsize)
This is definately not for everyone since brown is not your average color of choice for lipcolor. I however always liked brown lipsticks although its makes me look older than I really am.

Korres matte Eyeshadow Blue 1,8g
I dont wann say anything about this product since I have my own opinion about this type of blue. I wish I would have gotten the light rose colored one. But you know you cant always get ALL the good stuff.

Avene dark colour corrector (full size)
Avene seems to pop up in glossyboxes quite often I would believe. I cant say anything bad about the products so far BUT I am psyched to try this one out because I was on a hunt for something like this for a long time.

Ahava Set Dead-sea Mineral shower gel & Body lotion (40ml each)
This set looks really cute in its little Box with the hearts an everything, quite like a little present. The smell is also nice and fresh and I thing really "clean", If you can say that. Both claim to be approved for sensitive skin and to leave your skin refreshed and relaxed/ soft and smooth which is always a plus on my side.

Now on to my favourite thing in this box, the fake lashes that Glossybox gave us as an extra goodie this time.
They look so voluminous but not quite as fake as some drugstore products do. I am really excited for trying them for this festive season.

X-mas wrapping madness | DIY Lables

7 days till Christmas ~*~*~*~*~*~

I watched a whole bunch of christmas preperation videos and Vlogs on youtube because its so nice to see other people getting excited over christmas. As I saw Ingrid on her Vlog channel "the grid monster" or as most people must know from her main channel "Missglamourazzi" using all these cute labels that she purchased for her christmas presents, I couldnt resist. I had to recreate my own version of those.

Here is what you'll need:

I drew those from scratch because I wanted the lables to match with my wrapping paper but you could also just get some ideas from the internet.
And here is the finished result. I left out the names for obvious reasons.

YAY its only a week till christmas and I have all my presents wrapped and nicely bundled up. How far are you with your preperations; long finished or do you save that for the last day?

Christmas 2012 Makeup No1 | festive jewellery

I thought it would be fun to show my attempt at making some holiday posts. It also contains a little bit of jewellery shopping and the pieces can definately be included in some festive outfit ideas that should be uploaded soon as well. So stay right on track if you dont wanna miss anything.

All earrings are from the brand SIX

I really love these earrings I picked out. Especially the single statement earring with the little dangly stars and the gold one with these cute crosses.

Make-up Items:  Lumi Magique Concealer Loréal, kiko blush, Manhatten mat lip mousse, clear eyebrow gel, liquid eyeliner, Zoeva eyeliner in green (Glossybox November 2012), shimmery beige Eyeshadow.

Glossybox Germany | November 2012

Hey jolly Lovelys

Its glossybox time everyone....

Right from the beginning: I am not pleased with this box because it came to late and the inside looked a little shuffed together, with no love at all. BUT on the more positive note they sent us not more than 2 extra goodies; a pocket warmer and a blusher in the typical glossy pink.

Kryolan Glossybox blusher 12,95€
This is once again from the brand kryolan which seems to make glossyboxes lip-products and now blusher. Pretty expensive goodie I must say. But it is good quality brand and there is nothing to add.

Zoeva kohl liner in a dark green tone full (size) 3,80€
At first I was a little skeptical about the colour but then I played around with a few gold tones and it actually makes a pretty festive eye make up for the holidays (as you can see in the last photo).


Rituals cherry blosssoms and rice rich whipped body cream (70ml; 200ml/15€)
uh quite a mouthfull that name huh?! This smells really nice and i thought it felt also very nourishing to my skin as i tried it after the shower. There is nothing more important than to moisturize your body in the winter time, so I thought this was an actually thoughtful input.

Burts bees lip balm (full size)3,95
Everybody raves about this product like literally every beauty guru seams to swear by this. No wonder I took a little jump as i opened this months box. It smells like peppermint and leaves your lips with a refreshed feeling. It also has only organic ingredients and people claim that they stop your lips from craving more lipbalm.

Sans soucis anti aging organic face cream rose (full size) 22,90€
Can't really say anything about the brand. It smells nice because of the rose oil though. The package writing sounds also promising as its says to be a non mineral oils non paraben product.

Lolita lempicka fragrance (3ml)
Intensive sweet scent that lasted until the ext morning and i definatly like it. A shame its just such a small sample size.


That was it for my monthly glossybox post, which was a little bit ruined by the late arrival.

Cozy Chritsmas Time | Decorations and Randoms

Its finally christmas time all around the corner. Everywhere you go there are christmas decorations and markets and amazing christmas bargains only waiting to be bought.

I wanted my decoration to be really warm toned, best opportunity to establish my new found love for orangy colours. I also love the little owl and nut shaped silvery hangers, which I found by accident.

Another thing that cannot be left out are christmas scented candles. The brand doesnt really matter to me, since there arent any special ones available here. I like the vanilla caramel scent and apple cinnamon the best. Mhh so delicious~

There is really nothing better in winter time than to pour your favourite cup of tea grabbing your softest blanket and a good book - that is a thing I cant live without.

Disclaimer ~
Sadly I have been really busy with uni and my exams are right around the corner. So my real joy for christmas can firstly start in the middle of december really. Thats also the reason why I havent been posting much lately and I really miss it to pieces.

Jackets n Coats collection No 1 | Autumn/winter 2012

*~ I am in a Christmassy mood today ~*

I wanted to do this post for such a long time, I think since i saw my first coats collection on youtube a year ago. Because I am obsessed with all types of jackets and coats its not even funny anymore. I literally can go into a store with the fix wish to buy a certain clothing item, and most of the time I am going home with another jacket to add to my ever growing collection.

Most of the time i am tending more towards the coat-ish type of outer wear because in my opinion they can glam-up your whole appearence in an instant or even give it that special edge.
