Current obsession

At the moment everywhere i go i see collars, peterpan collars, pointed collars, sequin collars or collars in different colors, detachable or on a blouse... theres really no limit of varieties in them. This trend is going on for a while now so there is no harm in getting to know a little about the garment.
The collar in general goes back to 1300 in history and was meant to define the neckline. The detachable collar is also not as young as anyone might think, they made their first appearance in 1600.

What i love most about them is that they give every outfit an individual look and they can be worn either chic or casual.
I myself cannot get enough of them because they're so easy to make. Here are some which i bought and some that i made a while ago. They really are a new staple piece in my wardrobe
DIY felt collar with green and silver Pearls; all you need is felt, scissors, pearls and a glue gun

From left to right: fake fur collar, DIY red leather collar, brown plaid, sequin

These are all cut offs from blouses i no longer wear i gave them a new look with Studs, Black pearls, and peachy shiny pearls
