Whats in my bag

I dont think i have to explain this post because I'm by far not the only one who has done this. But i really enjoy seeing whats in other peoples bags and i hope this is not too boring for you because its not a video or something like that. I'm not ready to start my own channel and i definetly dont have the right video quality on my digi cam. BUT I wanted to do this for AGES

This is the bag i'm currently using a lot, its a real leather bag which i got from my local second hand store. BUT its never used the lovely shop-owner has purchased this when a shop was closing, so its really brand new. What a bargain i must say.
Let me say something in addition, i do not have problems with used things from fleamarkets and secondhand shops, quite the contrary I LOVE them. Maybe I'm going to visit a whole lot more of them, in the summer as my good friend hannah from uni promised to come along with me.
Of course there will be footage, you can be shure of that.

I must say I'm not a massive fan of of carriing a full packed bag, so as a result i only take this one to uni when i dont have many classes. On the other days I switch between two backpacks, which are quite more comfy. ~

Sneek peek
A Whole bunch of stuff - NOT-
Blistex Lipbalm, favourite drugstore lipstick and gloss in a coral peach tone, deodorant, bodyspray, handcream, hand sanitizer, Hairbrush

My purse, camera pouch, letaherman multitool, Ipod Nano, Smartphone
Special attention to my phone: Samsung nexus S front
Samsung nexus S back
For Uni days with many many classes: Forvert Backpack
For uni days with less classes: The Maxpedition Sitka gearslinger front
Back

(As you may have noticed i LOVE backpacks XD .... because you can never have enough backpacks.)

So these are just my essentials which I carry everyday, on rainy days of course i also take an umbrella or my ultra small packable rain jacket.
I definetley wanna purchase a little seperate bag for my makeup stuff but up until now i havent found a pretty one. Maybe I'LL find one tomorrow when I go shopping with a good friend of mine :) Memo to myself: take camera with me .
There will also be a whats in my outdoor backpack in the next few weeks because I'm going on an outdoor- vacation with my friends.

So thats my - Whats in my bag - post. Hope you liked it. Please tell me, what you think are YOUR bag essentials or post a link when you've already done a similar entry as mine.

How I: Do Eyebrows

So I've been noticing a slight obsession when it comes to eyebrows at the moment. The way people style them, featured articles and photos in magazines, on the runway and stuff.
The direction is going more and more to the full and bushy brows as in the past the fine thin eyebrows were more popular. Almost every time theres a connection to a bright bold lip color but i find thats not an absolute must.
I think its rather important, that when you want to draw attention to them, don't be too heavy with the rest of your make up. In the end I must add I'm a newbie in this field, so please bare with me.
Never the less, i wanted to share my bits and bops with you guys.

So here are some shaping tools I use

tweezer
eyebrow razors

eyebrow razors ("ebelin")  and tweezers, local drugstore brand

So the razors are new in my make up accessoires and i must say, they are very easy to use and efficient. I do have to point out though that, as like with every razor you have to do this a lot more often than with tweezers. Cause as you know, with the tweezers you're catching the hair by its route and with the razor you only chop it off at the surface. It feels a little bit like cheating for me. ;)

defining tools

eyebrow pencil with integrated brush to fill in your brows and blend the color in
white eyeliner pencil for highligtung your brow bone

Eyebrow pencil,  local drugstore brand "catrice cosmetics"

In the first 4 photos I only used liquid eyeliner, the eyebrow pencil and the white eyeliner pencil

Incorporated into my everyday look

So at the end i can say, that it really makes a difference in my look and I'm looking forward to keeping it in my routine.  I'm really excited getting to know your eyebrow-routine,  just tell me in the comments below.

Hope you enjoyed my point of view and I'm also going to post more often in the future. I actually made a list of things i want to blog about and I am really excited XD

My little helpers No 1

~Once upon a time, when i was little there was this part in me, that wanted to be tough, strong like all those heroes in the books i read and the movies i watched. For all those years that passed, that feeling never really went away, sure it has changed direction and clearly sometimes was stronger than others. Then later on someone came into my life that spoke exactly to this part of my soul and made it bright again~

Well, enough with all those epic stories and back to the point, why i was writing this post.
I was thinking about what to write next, and whats more convenient, than the little things that i use everyday and make my life so much easier.

The product i wanna present first, is my multitool "juice XE6" from leatherman in the color "Thunder violett".
I'm using this little treasure since 3 years now and i never came to the point where i regret buying it.
What spoke first to me of course was the gorgeous color, being a girl after all ;)
Its a little bit more on the pricier side, but its worth all those 80,00€ I spent. I ordered it from an outdoor online-shop where it was on sale.
They sell this series (Juice) in a variety of colors and for every color there's a different name ( does'nt that sound familiar???) Be aware that some colors have different features. So make sure to know what you want this tool to accomplish.

Some of you might think "why is she using a multitool" and "why is she posting this on a fashion and beauty blog".
Very simple answer:  I keep this little thing in my bag everyday and it helped me in so many situations.
For example who has'nt had the problem of necklaces falling apart in the middle of work, or the bus, or name the place you want. Or take another one: its a beautiful evening you wanna spent with your loved one, with a bottle of wine and you can't find the corkscrew.

What i have done with it so far
  1. fixed necklaces and all types of jewellery
  2. opened winebottles
  3. fixed my wardrobe-shelfs
  4. opened my laptopcase to make it dust-free
  5. add holes to my belts
  6. all kinds of DIY projects where i havent had a scissor or a knife at hand
  7. and the list could go on and on

I cannot lie, the people I'm meeting and even a few friends at uni reacted very surprised at first, very few were even strongly irritated. But most of the time i could help them, so they appreciated it afterwards.

I hope I did'nt scare you off with this post and you enjoyed reading a little about my everyday life, maybe even found inspiration in it for yourself.

Don't be afraid to be tough every girl/woman should be

DIY Ombré hair

Yeahhh i know I'm kinda late and yeah i know its already on its way out of being in style, but i just couldn't resist.  So here's my result of the Ombré Hair experiment, so far. I wanna go a little bit lighter but first i'll make sure my hair recovers from bleaching.
Please be aware that I'm NOT an EXPERT or a hairdresser i just want to share my experience ;)

A list of products i used
  1. 2 packages Bleach-powder 25g and 2 bottles 4% developer (from a hairdressers specialist shop)
    > the lovely lady at the counter suggested these, but i didnt use the whole bottles
  2. A comb and a brush to put the bleach on my tips
  3. Tin foil to cover them up afterwards > the hydrogen peroxid can work better in closed evironment
  4. Silver shampoo to avoid the yellow undertone
  5. John Friedas Sheer Blonde deep conditioner and the Go Blonder conditioner for after
    1. Argan oil

~I threw away the bleaching powder package so sorry you guys ~
      Developer 4%

      Preparedness
      1. I watched several Youtube videos to see how others got the job done and they really really help, if you wann recreate this please make sure you know what you're doing
        Youtubers I can recommend:
          Thepersianbabe
        Heyyyjune

        Helpful Blogentries:  Zoella
      2. Ask someone to help you if you're unsure, I asked my mum :)
      3. Make sure you know the structure of your hair and consider that your hair will need extra care after bleaching

      Getting the Job done
      1.  Mixing bleaching powder and developer to a paste that has the texture of a thicker Bodylotion
      2. put the bleach on the tips, brush through with a comb and wrap it in foil, i sectioned my hair into three parts first
      3. leave it on and check the color every 10 minutes until you have your wanted result but not longer than 45 minutes or your ends will break off
      4. Wash it out and wash with silver shampoo
      5. Put deep conditioner in if needed

This is the finished result. Its still orangy but before that, i dyed my hair nearly black. As i mentioned before i'm going for a lighter shade of frosty blonde at the ends. But before i start bleaching or dying (as i have seen in an other video totally works fine) again i wanna try out the "John Frieda Go blonder conditioner"

So I hope you enjoyed

Current obsession

Collars

At the moment everywhere i go i see collars, peterpan collars, pointed collars, sequin collars or collars in different colors, detachable or on a blouse... theres really no limit of varieties in them. This trend is going on for a while now so there is no harm in getting to know a little about the garment.
The collar in general goes back to 1300 in history and was meant to define the neckline. The detachable collar is also not as young as anyone might think, they made their first appearance in 1600.

What i love most about them is that they give every outfit an individual look and they can be worn either chic or casual.
I myself cannot get enough of them because they're so easy to make. Here are some which i bought and some that i made a while ago. They really are a new staple piece in my wardrobe
 XOXO Bee
