OOTD | Casual but Cool

 Hey You Lovelys,

Wanted to share a quick Outfit of the day with you. I think it smells like fall already and I cant wait to wear this blazer more often because now its still a little bit too warm.
And arent theses Boots awesome? They were a complete bargain too, so I think its okay I bought them.

Blazer, Jeans and Tshirt are from H&M and btw the Tshirt is from the mens section. They sometimes have awesome stuff there I tell you!
The booties are from Esprit but they were in the sale for 40 €, complete BARGAIN ohpps did i already say that, my fault.... :) so excited about them.
And of course my bag of choice at the moment my Longchamp shopper le pliage Bag in navy.

Out and about to meet the boyfriend for a movie and some snacks.

Hope you liked my outfit and don't miss my next series of posts when its time to "fall for Fall" ~<3

Things I loved in August 2012

So August is nearly over and fall is already taken over my mind.
But I can't deny that there where a few things, that made this month a little more special. I decided to highlight a few things I enjoyed most. Partly they are birthday gifts and partly I purchased these things with my own money,  I worked very hard for.

The khaki vest from zara was previously featured in one of my other posts where I showed how i styled it. And I've been practically living in it because it goes with so many outfits.

I also wanted a denim shirt for quite a while and when I saw one in primark for only 13 € I had to get it.
its lightly acid washed which prevents it from looking too polished and I really like that.

The Longchamp "le Pliage" bag in navy blue was a birthday present from the best mum in the world.
Its so pretty and fits loads of stuff in it which is protected from rain because of the nylon material.

These shower gels with oils are so hydrating and they smell amazing. There are different brands that sell
these but Nivea also is available in different countries.

The necklace was a birthday present from my friends from uni. I know for a fact that its from H&M because
I saw it one day but I found it too expensive. When I came back to buy itr anyway it wasnt there anymore.
I love studs and spikes because they make an outfit really edgy.
And now that its really a trend its much more easy to find jewellery in stores.

I bought the Jeffrey Campbell Litas earlier this year as a reward for my first uni exam period but was to afraid to wear them because they were so expensive. I wore these with my birthday outft which was just a little black dress with a zipper in the front from H&M. I adore them. They are black suede with glittery butterflys on them.

The tea tree oil range from the Bodyshop really helped with my blemishes and irritations I had. A real life saver if you know what I mean.

The illegal lengh mascara from maybelline first came to my attention when my dear cousin recommended it and she was right ist amazing it defines every single lash and makes it even longer. I bought it in black.
The lipstick ist from Manhatten from the X-treme last and shine series in the shade 33N. I first discovered my love for orange lipsticks when I started watching Zoes chanel on youtube. You may know her by the name of Zoella. She also has a fabulous blog I will link both of them here.

Last but not least:
What you can also see on the first picture in a light blue can, is a dry shampoo from my local drugstore -  nothing special, it was actually very cheap. I just wanted to try it out and it really helped me because I wanted to start washing my hair every third day. This dry shampoo is from "balea" the house brand from dm. Maybe i will purchase one from batiste next month.

Heat wave | What to wear when you're melting

 Hey you sunny- heads,

OMG its so hot outside. I started to think the summer would never come and now that its finally here ... I just want it to go away ... no seriously ... some degrees less would be really nice. Its 30°C and even inside the house its nearly 25°C.

I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share my favourite clothes when its meltin hot outside and you still just have to leave the house to run errants for example. Work and school is just another subject, because of the dress codes some of them have but I think you can always put something over your outfit a light scarf or shirt, to make it more appropriate. Please keep in mind that this is kind of a summer holiday thing.

I take the chance to add my favourite jewellery pieces of the moment.

glossybox germany | August 2012

Hey there glossybox Lovers,

Wow its already august which means its my birthday soon , yay <3
The August Glossy box came kind of early this time and I thought I'd share my first thoughts about it with you.

Catrice Glamour Doll volume Mascara  (Full size 3,99/10 ml)
This design reminds me of the Lancome Doll eyes mascara and it seems to be a dupe for it.
It promises to maximise the length and volume of your lashes. The brush seems to differ from the Lancome one but I think the effect is "okay" so far. For those of you who aren't from germany Catrice is a brand thats sold at one of the biggest drugstores called "dm".

Figs & Rouge Balm ( 3,95/ 8ml Full Size)
100% natural it says on the tin it comes in , which leads me to the package design its: absolutely adorable don't you think? You can use the balm for your skin or your lips. I'm sorry the texture doesnt look so nice but the heat wave thats going over germany seems to have had its effect on it.

Kenzo Madly kenzo ( 65,50/50ml) tester
This is interesting because you can't already buy this fragrance in stores yet. I like the smell its very flowery and summery.

Lancaster after sun tan maximiser ( original product 31,00/125ml) testerI cant wait to try this out, its a shame that its only a 15 ml tube. I dont know if this lasts for a proper try out but still I'll give it a shot.

O.P.I Nail varnish
I've heard so much about these on youtube and I can see why tey're so hyped. I love the dark greyish colour. Its applying very easily and drys really quick, thats what I noticed so far at least.
Its comes in a cute size so you can carry it around in your purse or holiday make up bags etc.

right eye with mascara

I really hope you liked my Glossybox posts so far - looking forward to trying these products and to the next box.

Current Obsession | my army vest

Hey my lovelys,

At first let me say sorry for my long absence, lately I been kinda busy with uni exams and didnt have the time to write much but theres a whole month of free time ahead and tons and tons of ideas.

So last week I went shopping with my little brother because he likes me to be around when he picks clothes. And Omg I cannot tell you how happy I am!!! Literally I wanted a vest like this for so long and I eyed it on the Zara website for quite a while. And when I  saw it in store there was no going back, I had to get it imediately. This vest is so versitile and so edgy it brightens up nearly every outfit with a sort of punky grungy vibe to it. But it also looks so nice with kind of softer fabric f.e. a very feminine dress to make it less girly.

I put together a little lookbook to show How I style this different ways. I hope you like it.

playsuit: H&M

Jeggings: H&M ; Band Tee: Primark mens section

There are so many ways I can style it and I wear it nearly everyday now. I hope you enjoyed my styling ideas on the sort of army trend thats going on at the moment and feel free to show me how you would style an army style clothing item.

Emotions | a photografic experiment

So I found myself experimenting with my new Nikon D5100 the other day and I thought I would make a little gallery with different expressions.
Its really fascinating how photos can transfer emotions to the viewer. I tried to cut this basic fact back to face expressions. I also really like black and white pictures because they are simply beautiful without any colors. Everytime I wonder why these are sometimes even more emotional than colored ones.
All in all, it was super fun and I hope you like it too.

This is a little different than the posts that I usually do, so please tell me all your thoughts and critical feedback. Also make sure to mention if you have already done something similar in the past or feel free to copy.

Glossy Box germany | July 2012

Hey Lovelys,

Sorry for the absence but I've just come back from my trip to the Manga and Anime Convention.

So this is the july glossy box - as it says on the box its a holiday edition
Here are just some quick thoughts on th items that where in it.

Eau Thermale Avéne spf 50 (Travel Size)
I think this is just simple but very high sun protection. I will definetly give this a try because I am very pale and still have high hopes that the sun will come and stay eventually. The smell is really nice also.

Body Moisterizer  F.A.B - First Aid Beauty (Travel size)
I heard so much about this body moisturizer. First I saw it in the UK glossy box last year and everyone raved about this. Cant wait to try it out. The only thing that bothers me, is the smell I dont know there's something that reminds me of old stuff that layed around for a while. Very odd scent I must say, but maybe its just mine.

Alessandro pedix feed heal rescue balm (Travel Size)
When you work as a waitress you simply appreciate all those goodies for your feet that make them look good again. Looking forward to this.

C:EHKO balm fluid plus (Hair fluid)
I am very excited to try this out. Aparently you have to cut these little capsules open and put it on to your tips after washing your hair.
I think this is definetly worth a more thorough review.

Lipstick secret Brand in the color bronze (Full Size)
I dont quite know if I can get any use out of this because brown/ bronzy Lipsticks tend to make me look very old. I wonder why they hid the brands name on it and even made a secret about the price though very mysterious.

glossy box sleeping mask
Very cute Idea i think. You can use this on the plane or at home or even when you're out camping and wanna feel a little luxurious in all the mud and dirt. (So you can sleep a little while longer and do not wake up when the sun is rising)
Its out of satin and it has black lining with black rubber bands in the back.

Hope this was not too rough and you could enjoy the post -If you wanna see pictures of the convention of all my Cosplays and goodies that I bought, I will make a series on my other channel.

Clarins Éclat du jour | skin care review

Hey Lovelys

I just recently felt that my skin care products were'nt doing the good job any more like they always it felt tired and dull and without any radiance at all. So  i decided it was time to try something new. After reading an enourmous amount of reviews of different lines und products I had filtered that the french brands all seem to be very good. So I went to a drugstore in my local area and tried some of like smell and consistancy. And the orange clarins line for younger skin really caught my eye and my nose to be hones. The smell is really nice and not too fragranced but fresh.

I did not know what I was getting myself into and so I bought a little kit with three products of this range which are also very practical for holidays.

The three products are

daily energizer cleansing gel
Ingedients mentioned: moringa extract
Step one: this is really like a normal gel cleanser it foams  up very easily and leaves your face refreshed.

daily energizer Wake-up booster
Ingerients mentioned on the front: redcurrant, green coffee and white tea extract
Step two: Just put it on a cotton pad and dot it on to your face gently. The word Wake up Booster is really not exaggerated its almost as if you can feel that your skin has more ernergy and it seems to cool down the temperature a little bit.

daily energizer Cream
Promises to hydrate to freshen up and to give your skin a healthy glow
Step three: You can just use it like a normal day cream

So all in all i'm basically very happy with this range. What really got me in the end, to buy these was the scent, its so lovley and I feel as if I can literally smell the vitamins. Its not to overpowering, but fresh and just wonderful. I could go on and on about it.

These products are cheaper than most products from clarins when you buy them full size.
The Cleansing gel is 12 € the Wake up Booster and the cream are about 20 € each so not cheap but cheaper than the other lines they produce. Also I think this is not over the top for clarins beeing a little bit like a high end brand. The little kit with all three products cost me about 12€.

Lately I had kind of oily patches in my T-zone area so I thought it would do no harm to try a moistuizer for combination skin. It was quite confusing because all my life I thought I had really dry skin. So I tried the full size Cream-gel moisturizer from the same orange range I just showed you.

The consistancy is not really what you picture from the word "gel" its more like a really nice cream without the creamy thick texture. And I must say I like the effect more. The price is about 20€.
I really love the glass pot it comes in, it sits so nicely on your dressing table and looks so expensive.

If you want a moisturizer with spf 15 in it I think they also have one of those. But as i tried these in the shop I found it quite watery so I chose otherwise.

I hope this review was rather helpful for you. I would like to know what range you are using or if you have experience with clarins as well. Can you recommend anything? Thats that for now ~
