Lovely News | 2nd blog

hey you,

This post is rather quick, I just wanted to share one of my new projects i startet a  few days ago.

I decided to open a second blog and put all my hobbies on there -  lifestyle things, cosplays, books conventions and DIYs that arent fashion related. For some of you this might seem rather strange or weird but thats a huge part of my life too. What I didnt want to do, was to mix them together because then this would have been a big colorful bubble with no structure at all. And I love structure by the way.

So if you're interested in the things that I do in my free time other than beauty and fashion ( which is also a big part of my life) then take a little of your time to visit  Doll House - come and play.
It would mean a lot to me if you did. <3~
(And dont be afraid of the slightly nerdy vibe - it wont pass on to you unless you let it )

For those of you who dont want to pay a visit thats also fine I dont wanna force attention or anything or brag about what I do.

In the near future i have planned a Clarins skin care review and "my favourite jewellery pieces | how I style them". So if you're more for the fashion and beauty part you can look forward to that.

Just let me know in the comments what you think about making two seperate blogs in the comments below.

h&m summer sale germany | haul

Hey you lovelys <3~

I went shopping mad .... guilty as charged. At the moment there's SALE everywhere and H&M has a huge one. I didnt buy too much because there is a Anime and Manga convention at the end of the month which will make my purse even thinner.
(So far about the little freak in each and everyone of us, because you know i tell the truth... just kidding.)

In general I'm all for saving money so I prefer to shop at Sales. But there are also times when you want a piece so bad that you cant wait to have it or you're afraid that it will not be available in your size. So in my opinion there can be a healthy mix between these two.
These are all summer pieces and I hope that summer is yet to come in germany. at the moment its 25°C in my region but there are also many rainy phases inbetween. I just never know what to wear.

What about you guys do you prefer to shop at SALES or do you buy the stuff when its brand new on the table?

~Stay in a summery state of mind~

All that frizz | a hair story

Hey lovelys its time to do the hair talk ~ <3

Everybody wants them healthy shiny hair and the majority has only one goal, to grow it really long.
So it doesnt come as a surprise that I'm not an exception. Long hair is just THE most wanted thing these days altough many celebrities are rocking the pixie. Emma Watson is my personal favourite, but then i also think that woman can wear a trash bag and look fabulous basically.

My hair story
So when I was younger i had massively thick frizzy curls up until the age of 8. But  an allergy suddenly stripped me from them for a few years. The Curls grew back and with those I had what you can call a love hate relationship. My biggest wish was to have straight sleeky hair like all these other kids. To be honest the other kids didn't like them either.

In my Teenage years the problem became even worse, and you guys know how mean teenage girls can be.
At the age of 13 I had really short hair which did'nt suit me at all. So I spend the next three years to grow it long again and I never had my hair down for quite a long time. At that time (16) i had managed to style my curls and was very pleased with the results.

Color
I never had used any colors on my hair till I was seventeen and then I only got 5 blonde highlights on the top of my head.
With this moment the colouring phase startet for me. I only tried brown colors that where near the shade I already had, to be on the save side.
At the same time i got face to face with another ilness called reflux. Basically the acid thats supposed to stay in your stomache is able to to flow back, because a failing closing mechanism between cardia and gullet.
The consequence is a strict adjustment to everything food wise. I had to abstain from everything with to much fat in it. Keeping that in mind I lost a lot of weight and hair in that time. when my body had adjusted to those major changes the hair kept growing back but they never became as thick and healthy as they used to be.
When I dye my hair my mum always helps me and I've never got it dyed at a salon because its just to expensive in my opinion. (the only exeption are the highlights I mentioned further up)

Styling and taking care
I nearly always only blow dry my fringe so its not a frizzy mess and let the rest of the hair air dry. I get the best results with this method because it does'nt require a lot of heat which would damage your hair.
On my fringe and on rare special occasions I use a flat iron.
When I use any styling products its either a frizz control or a styling mousse but never hairspray.
I only wash my hair every other day and always use a deep conditioner after shampooing.
For dry ends I recommend olive oil - just warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds and let it sit in your hair over night - then wash it out in the morning.

What I asked my hairdresser to do
I tell her to cut as little as possible :P. Btw I'm cutting the fringe myself.

Only recently I went a little crazy and tried the ombré look on my self because I saw all those gorgeous pictures online and wanted to give it a go. I must say I really like the look especially with the pink dip dye I got from a friend.
On the negative side it made my hair even more frizzy than it already is and I had to style it everyday, to make it look good. I just have'nt the time or the energy to do so.
I now have decided to put an end to my light ombre phase and died my ends dark blonde to begin with.
If you are ombréing your hair, please consider the structure of your hair before doing it , it really matters.
Nevertheless I still like it but its just not for me.
Just air dryed in the state it is now

 "the ring" girl pose

I will do an post about all my product for frizzy curly hair in the near future <3

So I hope my hair story has not bored your heads of and you're still awake in front of your computers ;)

glossybox germany | June

So here's my second Glossybox with the theme ~*summer and the beach*~

Alessandro Nail polish | Happy pink 5ml
I really love the color it gives to my nails. And although I'm really pale my hands look instantly tanned.
You do need at least two coats to get the exact color but it drys really really fast.

Kryolan Satin powder | Gold 3g
I always wanted to try pure pigments and see what all theses youtubers are raving about. So I was even more thrilled to see this as I opened the box. It came in the gorgeous gold shade and it gives a nice shimmer to my eyes. All glown up I'm ready for summer.

Lush lemony Flutter | cuticle butter
To be honest I'm not quite shure if i can get much use out of this because I got rid of my cuticles many many years ago and I'm quite happy about that. Non the less maybe I can use for any dry spots on my hands.
It says on the pakaging that it has a fresh lemony scent and it really does. The formula is indeed very creamy and promises to leave your hands all smoothed up.

Tiroler Nussöl | Sunoil 30ml
This is indeed a german product i assume. The brand is at least a 100 years old and the oil is supposed to be for the whole body. I never heard of this brand before but my mum seemed to know it. She told me that it enhances the natural tanning process but doesn't actually protect from sunburns or anything, so you have to keep that in mind.

I gotta ask you guys.. what is it with those oils, they seem really fancy these days. The hairoils everybody is talking about is the best example. I dont know are they worth a try? Let me know please.

Wilkinson | Intuition Naturals
TO ME it made perfectly sense that this was in this months box because the theme is "Summer and the sea" and when you're going to the beach you don't wanna have massively hairy legs. If you know where I'm coming from here :D There was a lot of talk about this shaver on the german glossybox facebookpage where they discussed the actual need of a drugstore shaver in a box which is supposed to send you more high end products to try. But really guys, I don't mind at all.
Its delivered with this capsules that have aloe vera in it and whole shaving the capsule releases the liquid.
So you really don't need any shaving creams or gels.

All in all it was a very well put together box with things for the summer time and it put me in a summery mood. Isnt that all that counts?

Some of these products are actually only available in germany, so I hope you don't mind. I always found it interesting to see the products of other countries Glossy boxes.

ootd | Pink dip dye

Well hello there, ^_^

In a moment of madness I dip dyed my hair pink. The dye is from a brand called "directions" in the shade

"flamingo pink". Its definetly something different and fun to play around with. But on the long run i must say

its pretty hard to style around this. Anyway while its washing out (its non permanent) I'm enjoying this pop

of color ~ I had to try it out anyway, cause its all over the blogs and youtube and it was just too tempting.

Loréal Nude Magic BB cream | Review

 Hello you lovelys

First let me explain a little in advance. I'm not the type of girl that uses make up everyday but for special occasions, because I think its a little heavy and I don't need that much coverage. Many of you use make up on a daily basis and thats fine, please don't take any offense from this.

So when I first saw Loréals BB cream, that came to the market just recently, i was a little sceptical.
But let me tell you I was blown away by the"try out portion" that came within the last glossybox. Of course I could'nt wait and bought the fullsize tube. Its not the cheapest product with 11,98€ its a little bit pricier, but its worth it. It has become an everyday essential and I'm afraid I have to purchase another one after that.

I used the BB cream for almost a week now and its really easy to apply because the opening has a little pointy end and you can easily measure the amount of cream that you'll need. In my experience its better to start with one thin layer and then build up coverage as you like. For me one layer is more than enough. Start to apply and  blend it in like make up from the center of your face outwards.
Its has a scrub like texture and you can feel the micro pearls on your face, but in a gentle way. These micro pearls are called "smart pigment capsules" which are supposed to release coloured pigments to even out and adjust your skin tone. So in short, it promises to get rid of all skin imperfections that has to do with blemishes. Its only reasonable, that this product only comes in two different shades light and medium.
I use the lighter version, because i'm very pale ;) And from recent experience i can definetly say it can also be used as a make up base.

Here are some pictures with just the BB cream on, no make up whats so ever.

I hope this review was somewhat helpful for you and fun to read.
well thanks anyway~

OOTD | Silver wedding dinner Party

 Hello you Guys,

The big day has finally come up and I was pretty excited about it. I really enjoy making a fuzz out of all of this and creating a ceremony in getting ready for big events. Its very therapeutic to me I think. Just taking a long shower and taking all that time for my make up. Even more right now i need time to relax and get my mind off things because uni exams are really keeping the pressure at a high level. But next week at this time its over so i just need to hold on for a little longer.

So I already showed you what i wanted to wear to this occasion, for that matter I'm just gonna spoil you with the pictures. My cousin Linda was so kind to shoot some gorgeous pictures with her DSLR camera.
So thanks for that ~

The family together

My little brother and me

My outfit
Hair and make-up

Thee Boyfriend and me ~
My present for my parents

So I hope you enjoyed what i put together and i hope to write again soon ~

Big hair | getting ready for dinner

 Hey my lovelys,

So on monday I went to dinner with my boyfriend to our fifth anniversary and it was an absolutley beautiful evening. We went to a little italien restaurant which was quite romantic. And i can tell you I had the best pizza in my whole life , and I'm not kidding guys. In addition the wine was amazing. It was literally a night I will never forget ~

The girl that i am, i dressed up for this special event. Here are some pictures of my hair and make up I wore that day. I went with a little black dress and nude heels to be classic. You can also see that I gradually have lighten up my ombré hair so its more blonde at the ends. But this time I took a highlighting kit from "schwarzkopf". I achieved the curls with something I would call a blow dry curling wand??? I don't know what else to call it. For my face I mostly used bronzer, for my eyes I chose gold eyeshadow and liquid eyeliner. For my lips i decided to go for a more toned down color and i took this light pink lipgloss.

So it really seems like it was yesterday since we've been together, which is a good thing ^_^
And I take this opportunity, because I know he's reading this, to tell you how much you actually mean to me.
This last few years were like a dream, like actually beeing with my soulmate which whome I could share all those stupid ideas and spending all this lovely time just reading or drinking wine. So I hope there are many many good years to come for us and to you guys, I hope you are as lucky as me to find such a beautiful person to be with, because everybody deserves to feel like me. So in the matter of this..
